Wynona's surgery was a success. She was able to have her surgery completed while standing, therefore she did not have to get anesthesia to lay on the ground. This helps the horse get through the surgery much faster, and allows her to get into her stall and get comfortable much sooner.
Her sutures are going to come out September 5, and she will be on stall rest for 60 days. We will be able to hand walk her to graze a little after 40 days.
